StampDeck is a personal travel journal. This policy explains how the StampDeck mobile application handles information when you use it.
1. Information stored on your device
Depending on the features you use, StampDeck stores the following information locally:
- your name or nickname, nationality, passport edition, optional bio and profile creation date;
- an optional profile photo selected from your photo library and an optional traveler mark or drawing;
- trips, destinations, dates, purposes, notes, flights, airports, airline, flight number, aircraft, seat, cabin, gate and times;
- stamps, statistics, collections and achievements calculated from your trips;
- display, motion, haptic and distance-unit preferences; and
- unfinished entries, recent searches, local recovery copies and a secure local record that Lifetime access was previously verified.
The travel archive and preferences are stored using the app’s local private storage, including AsyncStorage and local recovery files. A verified Lifetime indicator is kept in the device’s secure storage using SecureStore for temporary offline continuity.
The device’s configured region may be read locally to suggest a passport edition. StampDeck does not currently request iOS Location permission, access the device’s GPS position or deliberately collect your location.
2. Photo library
Photo-library access is requested only when you choose a profile photo. The selected photo is copied to the app’s private local storage and is not uploaded by StampDeck. You can replace or remove it from your profile, or remove it by deleting all local data.
3. Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat
StampDeck Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple; StampDeck does not receive your card number or banking details.
StampDeck uses RevenueCat to retrieve the localized price, validate the Apple receipt, activate Lifetime access and restore an eligible purchase. RevenueCat may process an anonymous customer identifier, receipt and purchase-history information, product and entitlement identifiers, and technical information needed for app functionality, fraud prevention and purchase analytics.
StampDeck currently does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, advertising identifier or a custom StampDeck account identifier. Purchase information is not used by StampDeck for targeted advertising. See the privacy policies of RevenueCat and Apple.
4. Atlas maps and Mapbox
StampDeck uses the Mapbox SDK to display the Atlas. The SDK communicates with Mapbox to provide maps and may transmit de-identified technical, usage and map-related telemetry, such as device or app information, map interactions and the area of the map being viewed.
A mapping SDK can include location support, but StampDeck does not enable GPS positioning, request Location permission or intentionally access the device’s location. Destinations and routes that you record remain in your local archive and are not sent to a StampDeck server.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking
The current app does not include a remote StampDeck analytics or crash-reporting service, advertising or cross-app tracking. Development diagnostic events are written only to the local development console and are not sent by the App Store build. The public website uses no cookies, analytics or embedded third-party content.
6. Sharing and support
When you use a Share feature, StampDeck opens the system share sheet. You choose the app or person that receives the content. StampDeck does not send shared content automatically.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and follow up on your request. Do not send passport numbers, identity documents or banking information.
7. Purposes and legal bases
Where applicable, information is processed to provide the app and purchases you request, perform contractual obligations, maintain reliability and security, and prevent fraud. Optional actions such as choosing a photo occur at your request. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
8. Retention, deletion and export
- Local data remains until you delete it in StampDeck or remove the app. Local recovery copies are held inside the app container.
- Use Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete all local data to erase the local profile, trips, flights, stamps, preferences, photos and recovery copies.
- Deleting local travel data does not delete or refund the Lifetime purchase associated with your Apple Account.
- Apple, RevenueCat and Mapbox apply their own retention periods.
- Support emails are retained as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations.
The current version does not provide data export, import, cloud synchronization or restoration of the travel archive on another device. Sharing individual summaries through the system share sheet is not a full archive export.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or port personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Local data can be viewed, edited or deleted in the app. Because StampDeck has no account or backend, support cannot remotely locate, export or delete your on-device archive.

10. International processing
Apple, RevenueCat and Mapbox may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable transfer safeguards.
11. Children
StampDeck is a general-audience travel journal and is not designed specifically for children. It does not request a date of birth or provide behavioral advertising, social networking or user-to-user communication.
12. Security
StampDeck minimizes the information handled, keeps the travel archive in the app’s private container and stores verified Lifetime evidence in system secure storage. No method is completely secure. Protect access to your device and avoid placing highly sensitive information in travel notes.
13. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to StampDeck, its providers or the law. The “Last updated” date will change, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
